What is your authentic story? Who are you, beyond what you have been told to be by others? What is your soul’s purpose – the reason you became embodied at this particular time in the history of the world? The wisdom of your unconscious knows these answers, and so much more.

There are many tools to connect with the guidance of your mythical, mystical self, and one of those tools is creating your own unique myth or fairy tale of your life. This creative, magical practice can show you aspects of yourself that you had no idea existed. It can invite in more vitality, love, courage and joy than you ever thought possible. You are the hero of your own story, after all, and you get to co-create your life’s journey in every moment.

To begin this quest, you must start to make authentic choices, based on the wisdom of your heart’s true knowing. This knowing lives beyond the castle walls of the patriarchy, and past the factory floor of capitalism. It lives in the wildness of your heart, and it is a far more authentic and powerful path than following what other people or oppressive cultural paradigms demand of you. But this path is not for the faint of heart! Are you willing to let your unfettered, creative spirit guide you and follow your beautiful heart to your soul’s true calling?

In this class, transformation teacher, shadow worker, and interfaith minister Tristy Taylor will guide you through the process of crafting your own personal myth or fairy tale as a magical spell. We will work with guided meditation, dream symbols, synchronicities, and recurring archetypes in your life to hunt down what your soul is dreaming and wishing for, in the wilds of your heart.

All mediums are welcome. If you are not a writer, you can paint, sculpt, collage, sing, or dance it. Whether you are a professional artist, a dabbler in creative pursuits, or fear that you aren’t creative at all, this class series has something vibrant and valuable to offer you. There will be space in every class for students to share their art, writing and process (but not required). By the end of the class, students will have the start of, or a complete personal fairy tale or myth, based on their own unique dream symbols, synchronicities and archetypes.

It is highly recommended that you take Tristy Taylor’s “Working with Archetypes to Discover Your Authentic Gifts to the World” [https://www.morbidanatomy.org/classes/working-with-archetypes-to-discover-your-authentic-gifts-to-the-world-with-educator-and-dreamworker-tristy-taylor-beginning-february-24] class before this one, but not required.
