Sleepy Blue Eye Handmade Ceramic Stoneware by Artist Katie Croft

In the artist’s own words, “I see the eye as a talisman, a protective amulet and at times as a reflection of our own inner worlds.”

Each eye is hand sculpted and hand painted by artist Katie Croft. Eyes can be hung on a wall or in a doorway or sat on a shelf, desk, or vanity unless otherwise specified.

Dimensions: 4 inches W x 1.75 inch H x 1.25 inch Deep
Materials: ceramic stoneware

Katie Croft is a Brooklyn based artist, art therapist, and educator. She is a painter and ceramic sculptor and her current work is focused on the intersection of art and healing. She graduated from Pratt with her MFA in 2020 and her MPS in 2022. Katie actively exhibits her work globally. Most recently her work has been featured at Spilt Milk Gallery in Edinburgh, Scotland; Winston Wachter Fine Art in Revisited 2021, Platform 2020, and SuperDutchess Gallery, NY. She’s been featured in numerous publications including the 2020 New American Paintings, No. 147, MFA Annual Issue and the inaugural issue of AllSheMakes contemporary art and culture magazine curated by ArtGirlRising. Her work is currently featured online at RiseArt, Subject Matter, and Spilt Milk Gallery.
