"Femme Satan" Limited Signed Prints by Erin Pedati

$22.00

These original artworks by Erin Pedati were inspired by the Death and Resurrection as Muse Tarot class with Laetitia Barbier.

In the artist’s own words: “I was mesmerized by the visceral visuals of the cards we studied, the common themes that united them throughout ages and ages, and how humanizing they are all. Satan is the card that rules my sun sign Capricorn, and growing up Catholic I have always been fascinated with the iconography that surrounds the devil. However, I rarely see this entity presented in a truly female form. I imagined my devil as a powerful pin-up girl, grounded in her sexuality and completely in charge. Several iterations of the devil card feature chained souls at the feet of the beast, and of course, Femme Satan needed a couple of underlings herself, although I like to believe she is a benevolent overlord, with the right sacrifices.”

These prints are available in two versions, “Femme Satan” #1 [Light-colored] and “Femme Satan” #2 [Dark-colored]. Make your selection from the drop-down menu below.

Each print measures 8.5 inches by 11 inches.

Erin Pedati is a creative who uses just about anything she can find to express herself; paints, charcoal, typography, digital design, lipstick. She has been drawing mythical creatures, monsters, aliens, and anything related to the esoteric and occult since kindergarten (and usually getting in trouble for doodling on her math tests) She lives and works outside of Washington DC with her rescue rabbit, Trixie.
