The Sip & Scribe Salon, facilitated by longtime writing teacher Jocelyn Lieu, includes enspiriting writing prompts, writing time, and opportunities to share. Writing materials and refreshments are provided.
Jocelyn Lieu (she/her) has taught fiction writing and craft for more than 30 years at colleges and universities including NYU, Sarah Lawrence College, and The New School. Her books are Potential Weapons, stories, and What Isn’t There, a memoir. From the start, Jocelyn has been drawn to the shadow worlds known as subtext. She is grateful to live in Lower Manhattan and the Catskills, in the unceded Munsee Lenape homelands.
