Imbolc marks the quiet turning of the year—the moment when the first, fragile signs of return begin to stir beneath winter’s surface. This online lecture and guided ritual explores Imbolc through myth, seasonal symbolism, and embodied practice, drawing on archetypal figures of forge-fire, creativity, renewal, and healing waters.

Participants will be guided through a simple, home-based ritual focused on renewal, intention-setting, and tending the “inner hearth” during the liminal passage from deep winter toward early spring. The session blends brief mythological teaching with somatic awareness, breath, and reflective practice, emphasizing accessibility, consent with the body, and presence over performance.

This free offering is designed as a gentle, inclusive space for community connection, seasonal attunement, and personal reorientation at the threshold of the returning light.

Dr. Selena Madden is a mythologist, educator, and ritualist whose work bridges movement, myth, and depth psychology. With reverence for ancient wisdom and symbolic ritual, Selena facilitates journeys inviting participants to embody archetypal energies, rediscover their inner landscape, and reclaim the luminous threads of their own mythic stories.
