Large Red Santa Muerte Statuette

$75.00
Sold Out

The Santa Muerte gazes out from seemingly bottomless eye sockets. A gesture among the arrangement of bones in her face suggests a deep warm smile and one of quiet amusement such as the snapshot memory of a friend who has paused for a picture taken by you, the viewer, or the benevolence and mirth of old friends who share a joke.

Sourced in Mexico, this Santa Muerte statue holds a scythe, scales, and globe, representing Death’s dominion over the world. This beautiful devotional statue is cast in a red resin, for love, passion, and romance protection. Various seeds and amulets are enclosed within the body of the Saint. She guided by the wisdom of the owl by her side. She leans on the staff of her scythe that is planted on a base of skulls, death, the foundation that holds everything including the green world.

Covered in wonderful detail and symbolism, she wears her own Santa Muerte skull necklace, and her scythe carries an ornamental skull on its heel.
