For anyone with a creative practice—from writing to cooking to art-making—Tarot offers practical method for accessing creative energy, breaking out of usual patterns, and unlocking avenues for experimentation.

Tarot is more than tool for divination. With its rich system of symbols, suits, images, and colors, it is a complex and sophisticated resource for connecting with our world. Painters can use Tarot spreads to inspire color palettes, writers can draw cards for character development and plot generation, and artists of any kind can consult the cards for creative problem-solving and mood-setting in their works.

Deepen your Tarot practice and learn to use the Tarot intuitively for creativity and everyday life in this focused workshop led by artist Dannielle Tegeder, featuring guest lectures from interdisciplinary practitioners in psychology, literature, history, and art pushing contemporary Tarot practice in new directions.

The workshop is led by artist Dannielle Tegeder, whose magick-centered pedagogy aims to empower students to confidently use the incredible power of Tarot to find guidance and connect to rich histories of divination and ritual.

Sessions will explore foundational elements of Tarot, practical tips and tricks for using the Tarot in creative practice, custom spreads, and the history of artists and writers who have used Tarot in their practice. Dannielle will also cover advanced topics, including color in Tarot, Tarot and the elements, Tarot and grieving, and more. This workshop is geared towards beginners and experienced Tarot readers looking to refresh their practice.

*Students will be given priority in joining additional drop-in Tarot coaching in New York City at the Morbid Anatomy Library space. Additional in-person sessions will have a separate fee.
