PLEASE NOTE: Classes will be recorded and archived for students who cannot make that time
This immersive course offers an exploration of the erotic feminine as a vital force woven through myth, embodiment, and the human psyche. Rather than limiting eros to sexuality, we will approach it as a generative principle, one that animates creation, beauty, truth, and transformation.
Engaging with archetypes such as the Sacred Lover, Warrior, Dark Goddess, Wild Woman, and Erotic Muse, we will examine how the erotic manifests as both instinct and artistry, integrating rawness with refinement and wildness with devotion. These figures serve as entry points for understanding deeper embodiment, healthy boundaries, authentic desire, and the transformative power of presence.
Drawing on global mythological traditions, we will encounter goddesses whose narratives illuminate the complexities of the erotic journey—including awakening, descent, sovereignty, radiance, rage, and surrender.
Participants will be invited to reflect on and engage with their own experiences of sensuality, power, voice, and self-intimacy. Whether you are seeking to reconnect with desire, deepen your creative expression, or rewild your relationship to the sacred feminine, this course offers a space of beauty, bravery, and becoming.
Selena Madden, PhD is a dedicated mythologist, archetypal educator, and somatic muse. Her profound passion lies in the exploration and integration of diverse archetypes and mythic narratives, unraveling the mysteries of the human psyche.
