Limited, Hand-Numbered Edition: Scrapbook of Agnes Schwarzenbacher: The Rubber Skin Lady by Marc Hartzman, Dori Ann Bischmann, Jim Bischmann from Curious Publications

$35.00

Scrapbook of Agnes Schwarzenbacher: The Rubber Skin Lady faithfully reproduces the scrapbook kept by one of sideshow’s biggest stars of the 1930s. It includes numerous photos of Agnes, her family, her friends in the sideshow, newspaper clippings related to performances and other sideshow news, and more. The book features an introduction by Marc Hartzman, author of American Sideshow, along with brief biographies of most performers seen throughout the book. This very limited edition is a perfect addition to any sideshow, circus, or oddities collection.

Softcover
Limited edition (100 copies, hand-numbered)
120 pages

ABCnews.com has called Marc Hartzman "one of America's leading connoisseurs of the bizarre" and George Noory from Coast to Coast AM said he's "as bizarre as Robert Ripley." In addition to his books about ghosts, Mars, sideshow performers, Oliver Cromwell's embalmed head, and other oddities, Marc has written for Mental Floss, AllThatsInteresting.com, HuffPost, AOL Weird News, The Morbid Anatomy Online Journal, and Bizarre magazine. He's discussed the weird and wonderful on CNN, MSNBC, Ripley's Radio, and the Travel Channel's Mysteries at the Museum.

Marc's work can be seen at marchartzmanbooks.com, and more of his love for the unusual can be found on his site, WeirdHistorian.com. He also republishes odd and obscure books at CuriousPublications.com. Outside of these projects, Marc earns a living as an award-winning advertising creative director.
